" The Keeper's Light" Beachfront Weddings

About Us

How does our Lighthouse represent your upcoming marriage? For over two thousand years, voyagers on life’s stormy seas were guided to safety by the unwavering tower and the unfailing light. This is symbolic of the strength and security each of you will find in your spouse.

We are the only venue on the Texas coast designed and built specifically to host your intimate beachfront wedding ceremony and reception, and we are the only working coastal lighthouse between Sabine Pass and Aransas Pass.

What we offer that other venues may not.

You will have a private suite (with elevator access) for the bridal party to prepare, and a separate Groom Room downstairs for the guys.

You will descend to your ceremony from a working Lighthouse. Your radiant glow and your fiance’s beaming smile will be the only brighter lights around. Your ceremony will be under a covered beachfront pavilion.

Your party may then adjourn to separate covered areas for the caterer and DJ, with a world-class music system covering the entire property, inside and out. (Ready for the DJ to plug in and entertain, or provide your own recorded music).

We offer a private beach area, free of seaweed, inside our private property. All other beaches on Bolivar and Galveston are public access.

We have wheelchair accessible public restrooms for your guests, with elevator access for the mobility impaired, and plenty of onsite parking, handicap parking also.

We also have several rainy day options (just in case).

Compare these amenities to some of the other providers who can only set up a few chairs on a public beach. Our only goal is to make this your perfect day!

How did we name our Lighthouse?

The people caring for a lighthouse are often referred to as Keepers. We realize that we have been blessed beyond our dreams, and that we are not the keepers, the Lord is the true Keeper.

Psalm 121 English Standard Version (ESV)

A Song of Ascents, The Lord is your Keeper.

121 1 "I lift up my eyes.
    From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;
    the Lord is the shade on your right hand".

And so, we help to watch over the Keeper's Light
